Occupied by fashion

New York, Rome, Frankfurt, London, Taipei, Madrid, Athens; rings any bells? It should, in case you have been living under a rock these past 12 months, we all know what is the motif that brings all of this cities together. Whatever your position is on this matter, a very personal thing by the way, we all were quite aware of the development of the facts or lack of, some might say.

I have no interest in getting all political/economical in my blog, but when fashion gets involved then I must do my research on the matter. And so it has happened, "The protest of Venus" shot by photographer Dirk Kikstra shows us a urban scenery, where a very stylish woman (model Nienke) in an altercation with the 'authority'. We' ve all seen it, not so stylish though, but the cotidianity of the events makes the theme so much more appealing. Don't you think?
